Household Owner Agreement

Version 2026-07-27.1 · effective July 27, 2026

You are reading this because you created a Petwise360 household, or are about to. Running a household is a different position from being invited into one, so it has its own short agreement on top of the Terms of Service, which apply to you as well.

This document is deliberately short. It covers the four things that are genuinely yours as an owner, and nothing else.

Nothing here reduces your rights under the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy. Where this agreement and the Terms cover the same ground, the Terms govern; this adds to them.

1. The household is yours to run

You decide who is in it. You invite people, you set what each of them can see and change, and you remove them. Those permission settings are real controls, not suggestions: what you grant is what that person can do with your pets' records.

Two consequences worth being explicit about:

2. You are the billing party

If your household has a paid plan, you own it. You choose the plan, you provide the payment method, you change or cancel it, and the charges are yours. Members you invite are never billed and never asked for a card.

If your subscription ends or moves to a plan with lower limits, the effects fall on the whole household, and section 7 of the Subscription Terms sets out exactly what happens to pets, members and records. Read that before you downgrade rather than after.

3. Records the household receives belong to the household

Your household has its own records address that you can give to your veterinary practice. Documents that arrive there, and records anyone in your household logs, become part of your pets' care history.

That history stays with the household. It does not leave when a member leaves, when a professional connection ends, or when someone closes their account. Section 9 of the Terms of Service explains why, and section 9 of the Privacy Policy explains precisely what is removed from a departing person's records and what remains.

Practically, this means you are the person who can delete your pets' records. Nobody else's account closure will do it for you, and nobody else's departure will take it away.

4. Your records address is an address, not a password

Anyone holding your household's records address can send documents into your inbox for review. That is what makes it useful: your vet can send records without an account. It also means it should be treated like a postal address rather than a secret.

5. Data protection roles

We are the data controller for the Service and handle personal data as set out in the Privacy Policy. That does not change because you run a household.

What is yours is the decision-making inside your household: whom you invite, what they can see, what you record about your pets, and whom you share your records address with. If you invite someone, please make sure they know what they are joining. Their agreement tells them, but a word from you is better.

6. If you are also a founder

The Founding 250 program is separate and optional. If your household is admitted to it, you accept the Founding 250 Program Terms as an explicit, additional step, and we record that acceptance. Creating a household does not enrol you in the program.

7. Ending it

You can close your household at any time from within the app. On closure we delete or anonymize identifiable account content within 7 days, with the four exceptions listed at the top of the Privacy Policy. Members lose access at the same time.

If your household has other owners, closing your own account does not close the household: it continues under them.

8. Changes and contact

If we materially change this agreement we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app, and ask you to accept the new version. Questions: support@petwise360.com.
