Subscription Terms
Version 2026-07-27.3 · effective July 27, 2026
These terms cover Petwise360's paid plans. They are part of our Terms of Service. Cancellation and refunds are covered in the Cancellation and Refund Policy, and usage limits by the Fair Use Policy.
1. Plans
Petwise360 offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Single and Family), plus an optional Intelligence & Automation Pack add-on for Single (its features are included with Family). The Pack's features use artificial intelligence services as described in our AI Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. The features, limits, and prices of each plan are shown at checkout and on the pricing page, and the checkout details are the authoritative version for your subscription. Plan features may evolve over time, subject to applicable law and any commitments shown at checkout.
2. The 2026 founding period and free trials
Throughout 2026, Petwise360 is free and access is limited to a founding group of up to 250 households, who receive all features at no charge under the Founding 250 Program Terms (a beta research program: you agree to be emailed research questions, though answering is never required, and marketing email stays separate and optional). Paid billing begins in 2027. Founding households qualify for the founder loyalty rate described in section 4 for as long as they then remain continuously subscribed.
After the founding period, paid plans may include a free trial shown at checkout. A payment method is required to start a trial, and the trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends. We aim to remind you by email before a trial converts.
3. Billing and automatic renewal
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance, through our payment processor Stripe. Annual billing carries a substantial discount, shown at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings, then Billing, and cancellation stops future renewal charges. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
4. Loyalty rewards and founder rates
Staying with Petwise360 earns deeper discounts, applied to annual billing:
- after 1 year of continuous paid membership, your annual discount increases (currently to at least 50% off the monthly list price);
- after 3 years, it increases again (currently to at least 55%);
- founding households (section 2) hold the top rate from their first paid year, for the life of one continuous subscription.
Time on a monthly plan counts toward your loyalty clock, but the loyalty rates themselves apply when you bill annually. Current rates and worked prices are always shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
4a. What "continuous" means, exactly
Every rate above depends on this word, so it should not be left to interpretation.
Your subscription is continuous while you are paid through. That includes:
- the period you have already paid for, even after you cancel. Cancelling on day 2 of an annual term does not end continuity until day 365;
- a 14-day payment-retry window after a failed renewal, during which your paid features keep working while we reattempt the charge (section 6). If a payment succeeds inside those 14 days, nothing was ever interrupted.
It lapses at the end of that 14-day window if no payment has succeeded. Not when we happen to notice, and not on the date a webhook reaches us: the date your access was actually paid through is the date that counts, and it is the date we record.
When a subscription lapses, the loyalty clock resets and founder pricing ends. Resubscribing later starts a new clock at the ordinary rate. What does not change is the historical fact: if you were one of the Founding 250, our records still show that and when you joined, because it is true. Founding membership is a fact about the past; founder pricing is a benefit that depends on the present.
5. Price changes and the price freeze
The prices shown at checkout will not increase before 1 January 2028. After that, if we change the price of your plan, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies to you. The new price takes effect at your first renewal on or after the effective date in the notice. If you do not accept the new price, cancel before that renewal and you will not be charged it.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal charge fails, Stripe retries the payment and we notify you by email so you can update your payment method. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be canceled and your account moved to the Free plan, with the effects described in section 7.
7. Plan changes, downgrades, and what happens to your data
You can change plans in the app under Settings, then Billing. Upgrades take effect as shown at checkout. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period.
Moving to a plan with lower limits has real consequences, so here they are plainly:
- Pet limits: if you have more pets than the new plan allows, you choose which pet stays active. The other pets are removed from active use and scheduled for deletion, with a 30-day window during which you can restore them by upgrading again. After that window they are permanently deleted or anonymized.
- Family members: if the new plan does not include family sharing, invited members lose access to shared records after a short grace period.
- Tasks and reminders: items assigned to removed members are reassigned to the account owner, and lower plan limits apply.
- Your data: nothing else is deleted by a downgrade. Records beyond a feature limit may become read-only or hidden until you upgrade again.
8. Family plan
The Petwise360 Family plan may include expanded access for household or family use, and includes the Intelligence & Automation Pack. Depending on the features available at the time, the Family plan may support multiple pets, multiple people or family members, household sharing, shared pet records, notes, reminders, or related information, additional family, household, or care-management features, and other features shown at checkout or within the Service.
The account owner or designated administrator may be responsible for managing invited users, access rights, billing, subscription changes, and cancellation. Users invited to a Family plan may be able to view, add, edit, or manage shared pet information depending on the permissions available in the Service. Petwise360 may modify Family plan features, limits, and permissions over time, subject to applicable law and any subscription commitments shown at checkout.
