Terms of Service
Version 2026-07-27.1 · effective July 27, 2026 · supersedes version 2026-07-20.1
About this version. Section 19 promises existing users 30 days' notice of a material change. This version amends sections 2 and 9, and it takes effect immediately because Petwise360 has not yet opened to the public: there is no existing user who agreed to the previous version and could be prejudiced by the change. Every account created from launch onward accepts this version explicitly, and we record which version each person accepted. From launch on, the 30-day notice in section 19 applies in full.
Welcome to Petwise360. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Petwise360 website, web app, and mobile app (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by KoDiMi LLC d/b/a Petwise360.com ("Petwise360," "we," "us," or "our"), 4030 Wake Forest Road STE 349, Raleigh, NC 27609, United States. You can reach us at support@petwise360.com.
2. Agreeing to these Terms
By creating a Petwise360 account, you accept these Terms and the policies they incorporate: our Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice, Fair Use Policy, Subscription Terms, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Support Policy, and AI Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the Service.
One more agreement applies, depending on which side of a household you are on. Running a household and being invited into someone else's are different positions with different responsibilities, so each has its own short agreement on top of these Terms:
- If you create a household, you accept the Household Owner Agreement.
- If you accept an invitation to join someone else's household, you accept the Household Member Agreement.
You are shown the one that applies and asked to accept it before that role takes effect, and we record which version you accepted and when. If you later become an owner of a household as well, you accept the Owner Agreement at that point.
Households admitted to the 2026 Founding 250 program also accept the Founding 250 Program Terms. That is a separate, explicit acceptance by the household owner, not something that happens by signing up.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. The Service is not directed at children.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@petwise360.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. The Service
Petwise360 provides tools to help you manage your pets' care: records, feeding and nutrition logging, exercise tracking, health and medication records, reminders, household sharing, reference libraries, and related features. Available features depend on your plan and may change over time as we improve the Service.
Petwise360 is not a veterinary service. Nothing in the Service, including any AI-generated content, is veterinary, medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice. For pet health, treatment, medication, diet, emergency, or safety decisions, consult a qualified veterinarian or appropriate professional. See our AI Disclaimer.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Paid plans, trials, billing, renewals, price changes, and what happens when you change or cancel a plan are described in our Subscription Terms and Cancellation and Refund Policy. Both are part of these Terms.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add to the Service: pet profiles, photos, documents, notes, logs, and records ("Your Content").
So that we can run the Service, you grant Petwise360 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and back up Your Content, including sharing it with the service providers described in our Privacy Policy (for example, sending information to an AI provider when you use an AI-enabled feature). This license exists only to operate, support, secure, and improve the Service and ends when Your Content is deleted, except as described in the Privacy Policy (for example, backups and records we are required to keep).
You are responsible for Your Content and must have the rights needed to upload it. Do not upload content that infringes someone else's rights or that you do not have permission to share.
7. Community contributions
Some features may let you contribute content to shared, publicly visible catalogs within the Service, such as community food or breed data and images ("Contributions"). Where those features are available and you choose to contribute:
- You grant Petwise360 a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, and distribute your Contributions as part of the Service and its successors.
- You warrant that you have the rights needed to make the Contribution, including rights in any images you upload, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.
- We may review, moderate, edit, decline, or remove Contributions at any time, including after publication.
- If you believe content in a shared catalog infringes your rights, email support@petwise360.com with details and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or deceptive;
- upload content that is infringing, abusive, or malicious (including malware);
- attempt to access other users' accounts or data without permission;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or interfere with its operation, except lawful good-faith security research reported to us;
- scrape, bulk-download, or resell the Service or its data;
- reverse engineer the Service except where the law expressly permits it; or
- circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or security measures.
9. Household and family sharing
Some plans let an account owner invite other people to share pet records. The account owner or a designated administrator manages invited users, access rights, billing, subscription changes, and cancellation. Invited users may be able to view, add, edit, or manage shared pet information depending on the permissions available in the Service. See the Subscription Terms for details.
What you add to a shared household stays with that household. When you add or change pet information in a household you share with other people, that entry becomes part of the household's care history, which the other members go on relying on. It is not deleted when you leave the household, when a connection to a professional ends, or when you close your account. We remove your contact details from it, but your first name may remain attached so the history stays readable ("logged by Mark"), until no household still lists you as a member. Section 9 of the Privacy Policy states that rule exactly, including how to ask us to replace the label with a neutral one.
Records in a household are deleted when the household deletes that pet or that record, or when the household itself is closed. Emails sent to a household's records address run on two shorter, fixed clocks, regardless of anyone's account:
- the envelope (sender address, recipient address, subject and message text) is deleted 30 days after the message arrived, and nothing can extend that date; and
- the attached files are deleted 30 days after arrival if nobody imports them, or up to 30 days after an import so a mistake can be undone. Anything imported into a pet's history then belongs to the household like any other record.
Section 5 of the Privacy Policy describes both.
By creating an account you accept this arrangement. It exists so that a household's records stay complete and trustworthy when people come and go, rather than developing gaps that nobody can explain later.
10. AI features
Certain features use artificial intelligence service providers, including Anthropic, to work. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular situation, and are not professional advice. Our AI Disclaimer is part of these Terms; please read it before using AI-enabled features.
11. Third-party services
The Service is built on trusted third-party providers (for example, payment processing by Stripe and sign-in by Clerk) as described in our Privacy Policy. Parts of our reference libraries include data from open datasets, credited where shown in the app. We are not responsible for third-party websites we link to.
12. Privacy
How we collect, use, share, retain, and delete personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content we create, belongs to Petwise360 or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in it beyond the right to use the Service.
14. Ending your account
By you: you can close your account at any time from within the app. On closure, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Closing your account does not remove records you added to a household you shared with other people, or records that household received; see section 9.
By us: we may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, use the Service unlawfully, or put the Service or other users at risk. Where practicable we will give you notice first. If we terminate your paid subscription without cause, we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
15. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (including AI outputs and community-contributed data) is accurate or complete. Keep your own copies of records you cannot afford to lose.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petwise360 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection laws of the place where you live, and nothing in these Terms reduces them.
17. Indemnity
You will indemnify Petwise360 against third-party claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by the law of the place where you live.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, except that if you are a consumer in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction whose law requires otherwise, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws, and the right to bring proceedings in the courts, of the place where you live.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before the change takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can close your account and, where required by law or our Cancellation and Refund Policy, receive a refund of any unused period.
