Household Member Agreement
Version 2026-07-27.1 · effective July 27, 2026
Someone has invited you into their Petwise360 household, or is about to. Being a member is a different position from running a household, so it has its own short agreement on top of the Terms of Service, which apply to you as well.
This document exists to tell you the things you would want to know before accepting, rather than after.
Nothing here reduces your rights under the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy. Where this agreement and the Terms cover the same ground, the Terms govern; this adds to them.
1. The owner runs the household, and can see what you log
The household owner decides who is in the household and what each person can see and change. They can change your permissions or remove you at any time.
What you log in the household is visible to the household. If you record a meal, a walk, a weight or a health note, the owner and other members with access can see it, along with your name against it. That is the point of a shared care record: the next person to feed the dog needs to know whether you already did.
If that is not what you expected, this is the moment to decline rather than accept. Nothing about it is hidden, and none of it is retrospective: you are being told before you join.
2. You are never billed
The owner pays for the household's plan. You are never charged, never asked for a payment method, and never responsible for their subscription. If the owner downgrades or cancels, the household's limits change and you may lose access; that is a consequence for you, but not a bill.
3. What you add stays with the household
This is the one clause most worth reading twice.
When you log something in someone else's household, it becomes part of that household's care history and the other members go on relying on it. It is not deleted when you leave, and it is not deleted when you close your Petwise360 account.
What we do remove is your contact information. What may remain is your first name, so the history stays readable ("logged by Sam"). Never your full name, never your email, never anything anyone could contact you through. That label is removed once no household still lists you as a member, and you can ask us to replace it with a neutral one at any time by emailing support@petwise360.com. Section 9 of the Privacy Policy states the rule exactly.
Your own account, your own pets and your own personal data remain entirely yours and are deleted normally when you close your account.
4. The household's pets are not yours to delete
You may be able to add, edit and manage records depending on the permissions the owner has given you. Deleting the household's pets or closing the household is the owner's decision, not yours. Leaving is always yours.
5. Records that arrive by email
Households can receive veterinary records by email. If you have permission to edit health records, you may see those messages in the household's inbox and be able to review and file them. They belong to the household, and the retention rules in section 5 of the Privacy Policy apply regardless of who reviews them.
6. Leaving
You can leave a household at any time from within the app. You lose access to its pets and records immediately. What you logged stays, as described in section 3.
Leaving a household is not the same as closing your Petwise360 account. You can do either, both, or neither.
7. Changes and contact
If we materially change this agreement we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app, and ask you to accept the new version. Questions: support@petwise360.com.
